Synopsis:
The journey of Thailand’s democracy that is not mentioned in any lesson is told in this documentary, from the days back to the establishment of constitutional monarchy in 1932 through many movements, coups, and uprising. Meant to look at the past to understand the present before aiming forward to the future, the filmmakers use archival footage, voice-overs and interviews with 14 academics and activists. Among those offering their views are Sulak Sivaraksa, Chanwit Kasetsiri, Jiranan Pitpreecha,Thongchai Winichakul, Parinya Tewanaruemit, Chaiyan Chaiyaporn, and Worajet Pakeerat.
