The Legend of the Phi Ta Khon Mask

Synopsis:

Ek and his group of university friends travel to the Isan region to research local culture. What begins as an academic trip soon unravels into a nightmare. In a quiet rural village, an elder tells them the legend of a Pee Ta Khon mask with diamonds and cursed. Its true owner, the spirit bound to it, will one day return to reclaim what is his. When a ruthless gang led by Ron hunts for the same mask, Ek, his friends, and their professor are caught in a dangerous struggle for survival. During a violent clash, Ek narrowly escapes death thanks to his girlfriend Fahsai. But once he comes into possession of the mask, he realizes its terrifying power. The curse demands that only a pure-hearted soul may wield it, and only for good. From that moment on, Ek’s life will never be the same. As destiny and darkness intertwine beneath the haunting eyes of the Pee Ta Kohn mask.
