Synopsis:

In a remote, arid village plagued by drug dealing and power struggles, tensions escalate when the village head is assassinated. A new leader must be elected, and Phuyai Guem wins the vote. His son, Moss, dreams of becoming a singer, but Phuyai Guem insists he study law and become a police officer instead. Moss’s friend Yos, a poor boy, also aspires to be a singer. Both boys are drawn to the same girl, Kru Pui, the daughter of SAO Uan, another influential figure in the village. With the village’s barren conditions leaving few opportunities, Yos sets off for Bangkok, determined to earn money to care for his ailing mother and pursue his dream. In the end, he secures a deal with a record company.
