Embracing Khemarat

Synopsis:

Beautiful love stories of three couples in Khemarat district near the Mae Khong riverbank. Praekwan travels from Bangkok to Ubonratchatanee to work as a doctor and has to fight for the citizens’ right on medical service. There, she meets and falls in love with Kong, a coffee barista and an agricultural resort owner though he cannot reciprocate the romantic feeling due to his past heartbreak. . Kao, a young brother of Kong is pursued by Prai, his schoolmate whom he tries to avoid. While Peng, Kong’s resort manager has an eye for Pimmanee, a Laotian girl who crossed the border to work in this area.

These relationships flourish into fondness in this small neighboring district of the Mekhong delta called Khemarat
