Synopsis:
Reverend Nean, a new abbot, tries to fool the Kokpranang villagers to superstitious believes, so he can trick the money from them through merit-making. The principal Buddha image in the main chapel and Yeesoon, an ex-convicted become the victims of Reverend Nean’s scheme. Moreover, Reverend Nean also lures Chanthorn, a young husband of Kratin to become his apprentice monk.
Not only Reverend Nean who seizes everything from everyone, there is also headman Rith, a local mafia who stealed Tang, Yeesoon’s wife while he was in prison for 10 years, and also brutally deflowered Toey, Tang’s younger sister. Neverthelss, Naul, Yeesoon’s mother, always makes merit with Reverend Nean. She keeps asking for money from her son who earns from cobra hunting.
