Khun Pan 3

Synopsis:

In 1950, after the end of the 2^nd World War, Thailand was forced into signing a treaty that required the country to deliver 1.5 million tons of rice to Great Britain as war reparations and to nullify the declaration of war against the Allies. The country faced food shortages and poverty; economic inequality became clear while thugs and bandits ruled the upcountry. People can’t trust the civil servants who were corrupted and abused their power. Only Khun Pantararajadej  remained the righteous lawman who upheld justice and became the only hope for the people.

Even though he took down Alhaweeyahoo in the south and got rid of the bandits in the central provinces Bandit Fai and Bandit Bai, Khun Pan was suspected of having gone rogue and secretly supporting the bandits. While pondering the question, “Will the invincibility last forever when the magic is wearing away?” he decided to lay down his badges and return to Nakornsrithammarat with his wife to live a happy normal life and prepare for their first child.

But when three MPs from the opposition parties went mysteriously missing, Khun Pan had to come back and solve the case. At the same time, he was needed to hunt down the two “most wanted” bandits who had been put on death warrants. Bandits Mahesuan (Mario Maurer) and Bandit Dam, who were now famous and threatened the stability of the government, were particularly dangerous; Bandit Dam, in particular, was a powerful mage who harbored a grudge against Khun Pan and desired his death.
